I recently purchased Apple Mac OSX Leopard from Fry's Electronics and I couldn't be happier. First off, the features are much improved over the previous version, 10.4.10.
When you first view your new desktop you will notice that all your documents, PDFs, pictures and Excel files will show up in the Finder as Icon previews. This is a very useful feature if your a writer like me and you hate searching through Document folders.
Another really good feature in Leopard is the quick find search box that you can locate in the upper right corner of your screen. Not only is this search engine really fast, but you can also type math problems in it like 1 + 1 and it will give you 1 + 1 = 2. You can also search a definition for words you don't know and it will find the answer.
Overall this Apple Operating system version is a lot speedier than previous ones and of course people are reporting having problems with it, but I haven't had any problems. This is a really solid operating system and publishing platform if you are a writer or publisher, and I will definitely purchase future apple products.

I've heard that with a few tweaks this can run on a windows computer, but I haven't toyed around yet.
i like leapord but you have to stick with windows :)
