Best Protection Used So Far By Jennifer Tang on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have been using AVG for sometime and it turns out that it lets viruses and malware slip through the cracks. Perfect. I have tried to use Kaspersky security, but it kept causing my laptop to malfunction, so I had to give up on that idea.
That's when I came across Bitdefender. I tried out the free trial and I absolutely loved it. It was very strict about different things you download onto your computer. It was very efficient when it came to deleting problematic viruses. Sometimes it isn't able to get rid of some things which are minor, but another anti-virus can take care of that. I usually use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to get rid of things that may slip through the cracks, but that has only happened once.
Bitdefender seems like it is very protective. It alerts you whenever you need to scan or update, which means your computer will always be safe, which is a good thing. The only time I ever get things on my computer is when I download something, but that is easily fixed.
I recommend this to anyone. It's much better than the security I've used which include AVG, Norton, Kaspersky, and Avast.
OEM Bitdefender Total Security 2009

I agree with you. Kaspersky is horrible on my laptop as well, eats too much resources and you cannot scan in the background it will slow it down too much. It could be useful for an overnight scan but you can just do that with their online scanner. Bitdefender is one of those that I thoroughly have enjoyed, along with Eset's NOD32 (another excellent anti-virus).
