Best Sewing Machine For Less By HillaryM on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Growing up, and until recently I have always used or borrowed my mother's sewing machines. My mother is a life long seamstress and has always had very expensive and very complicated machines. Recently, I decided that I wanted a machine for my own use and received the Brother LS-2125i as a birthday gift. I decided on this machine, because we had bought it for my niece and it was sturdy, easy to use, has all the basic tools and is inexpensive.

The Brother LS-2125i is by leaps and miles the easiest machine I have ever encountered. Threading this machine literally takes 20 seconds or less. Threading the bobbin is simplified as well. Filling the bobbin is also quite easy and the machine stops when the bobbin is full.

The machine has ten different stitches available, which is all the basic home seamstress needs generally. I have made a purse, a diaper bag, a jumper, two quilts and a robe so far all with ease.

This is a great machine for the basic beginner, children and for people who sew general clothing and household items as a hobby.

I have never sewed in my life, would I be able to use this easily?
