Best Solution For Minor Injury By edev5 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My cousin cured me with this product, Betadine Antiseptic Solution Stick, when my finger was bleeding cutting vegetables for preparing dinner at her house few months ago when I stayed at her house. This is, in my personal opinion, the most interesting first aid supply that I've ever known. It comes in a pack of 10, and what surprised me was that the antiseptic comes in cotton buds, where the liquid containing the antiseptic is there inside the bud. In each bud, the cotton has two color: blue and white. To use it is very simple: just break the blue cotton, and the antiseptic liquid will flow through the bud 'til it reaches the white cotton. Then apply it on the wounded/injured/bleeding part. That's it! It's very handy indeed. But of course, since this is a first aid supply, it's only meant for minor injuries. After this interesting experience with my cousin, I bought a pack of this and now I often carry this in my bag. For me it's just a terrific medication with simple brilliant idea of putting antiseptic in a cotton bud. Great product!

Betadine is a great disinfectant and often used in surgical procedures. I purchased the surgical scrub years ago, but have never seen the swabs. I will have to look at the pharmacy for these.
