Betta Min Fish Food By mrsboz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

First let me say that I am not an animal person. My first grader looked at me with her beautiful baby blues and asked me if she could bring home one of the fish from her classroom. Once the tears started falling, I caved in. So, needless to say, we have a fish. Well, she brought them home and we had to feed it. Where to begin? I asked around and everyone pointed me in the direction of Walmart. I have to say that they have a nice little fish section. Anyway, we chose a food that we thought, by reading its contents, that it would work quite well. Well, it did. They love it. One thing that I find fault with this fish food is that it is so small it is hard to put just a little bit in. It isn't the regular big flakes that you can put in one or two. No, it is tiny little flecks. The first time I put some in they ate it like crazy so we put more in. Too much went in. It is very hard to measure with such small flecks. But, I have to say they dove at it. I guess this is a good tasting food for them.
