One of my favorite magazines is one that I have had around my house pretty much my whole life. My mother has always been a devoted Better Homes and Gardens reader, and it seems that I will be also. Growing up, it was always laying around the house, and from time to time I would pick it up and browse through the pictures. As I have grown, I began to appreciate the topics covered more than before. I always take note when they do product recommendations, I absolutely trust their judgment. I like their recipes and their garden photos, even though I can't imagine cooking the things they recommend or ever having a garden that nice. My favorite part of the magazine is the before and after pictures and stories of people who renovate their homes. It makes me excited to one day have my own place, my own stories, and just maybe, that perfect garden. The subscription price is, in my opinion, a good deal and they often run specials. One recent special was 3 years for $20 – less than the standard one year rate, and two of their cookbooks.
