I really need my Betty Crocker Cookbook. It has simple and easy recipes for everyone.I bought the bonus edition with a red cover . There are eight spoons in a circle all over the cover which look like bursts or snowflakes. There is an index to explain many common words in cooking. It talks about food safety.There are large index cards so you can put your favorite recipes in the book. I myself like the vegetarian dishes in the book. The book has a section on egg basics -cheese-fish-chicken and many more. One page even has a picture of the various cheeses-names them and describes them and their uses. There are twenty minutes and less meals. I like potatoes and have made the scalloped and au gratin with much success. These recipes are as I mentioned simple. If you are not a big cook, Betty Crocker is for you. I believe this is why I bought the book. The recipes are easy to read , no fancy cooking terms. You will thoroughly enjoy this wonderful cookbook.
