I got this for Christmas from my brother this year. Not to sure what I think of it yet. I plugged it in and made some toast . It says a smell will come from it the first time you use it. But wow this smell smelt like a fire was about to happen. The toaster oven got so hot that you need to make sure nothing is around it and it is pulled away from the wall when using as the back gets really hot and will melt the cord you need to plug it in with to work. It has a heat oven setting like a regular oven, however i find that you need to cook things longer than if you were to use an acual conventional oven. The thing i do like about this unit is it can make 4 slices of toast at once. And it does cook a nice mini pizza. My kids love this unit as they use it like an easy bake oven because it came with a mini tray to back cookies. Cookies that normally would take 10 minutes in a conventional oven take almost 3 times longer in this toaster oven. So it you think about which is better on hydro? I am not sure until i get my new hydro bill.
