The song "If I Were A Boy" by Beyonce, recently released from her new album "I Am...Sasha Fierce", is an incredible song. In the song shes speaks as if she were a boy and sings about how she'd treat a girl.
The sound quality of the song is very good. Its very clear and understandable.
This is one of the most original songs of 2008. I'm quite sure many people haven't heard a female singer sing a song about being in a males place and what she'd do differently. Singing this song was different for her and she even admitted it. Stating that Aretha Franklin inspired her to sing any song she wants to sing.
When most people first hear this song they can't understand the meaning of it but when they see the video they now can. The video features Beyonce, as a cop, and a male actor. In the video she neglects him and disrespects him. Beyonce flirted with her police partner and ignored her boyfriends calls. At the end of the third verse she and her boyfriend switch places and now it is he that is the one who is disrepecting her. This video shows what many females go through and how boys don't usually understand the hurt that they often cause, sometimes not even realizing.
