I recently bought the DVD "Beyond the Sea" starring Kevin Spacey as the singer, Bobby Darin. It was purchased at Best Buy for $19.99. I actually saw the movie first on TV and just had to have a copy of it. Kevin Spacey is sensational in the role of Bobby Darin. He sings, dances and acts in this movie, and I never knew he was so versatile. The cast includes Kate Bosworth, John Goodman and Bob Hoskins. William Ullrich plays the role of Bobby as a child, and he is just great. Near the end of the movie, there is a scene where Kevin Spacey and William Ullrich do a song and dance routine together. Just priceless. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and commend Kevin Spacey for an unforgettable performance. In fact, everyone did a superb job, but Kevin Spacey just shone. If you were a fan of Bobby Darin, and even if you weren't, you should definitely enjoy this movie. It is a great addition to my DVD collection.
