Bia Cordon Bleu Deviled Eggs Platter By Willow on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is my big deviled eggs platter that I use when I invite large company and cook a couple dozen of deviled eggs. I have a small, cheap plastic platter for regular use, but this one is more of a special occasion type. It is made of porcelain; the design is rather simple - just a plain white platter, shaped as an egg and with 24 cavities to hold deviled eggs. I have seen nicer designs, but what's good about this one is that it can go with any kind of tableware I choose without clashing.
Except for deviled eggs, I have used this platter to serve stuffed tomatoes (they need to be small enough, of course) and sushi. Your average sushi are just the right size and fit perfectly in the cavities.
The platter is dishwasher safe, but I usually wash it by hand.

White is always classy to go with anything, and I like the oval "egg" shape.
That's a great idea for using it for serving other things like sushi too.
I love deviled eggs... have to try....
I need one of these! Our family is big on deviled eggs. Thanks for the info on it!
Mine is not egg shaped! LOL, I like this, I know mine makes serving easier. I think this one is so cute!
You're smart to wash this latter by hand. This type of earthenware cracks invisible under high heat like many dishwashers use, and will suddenly shatter for no apparent reason.
What a nice platter to serve you deviled eggs on- I can taste them now.
Great deviled egg plate! I've not seen one that had so many places for the eggs. I like the alternate serving uses you have come up with as well.
