Bic Brite Liner Grip XL Fluorescent Highlighter
By Alice onHighlighters are a staple in every office and probably most homes.I use them each and every day at work, A LOT!!We have used a variety of highlighters in our office but recently while on a trip to Staples they had the BIC Brite Liner Grip XL Fluorescent Highlighter 2 pack on sale for $1.00, regularly $3.99.
I couldn't pass up a good deal like that and picked up a bunch for my office, and some to have at home. What caught my eye in the first place was the thickness of the grip, and it was also longer than what I was currently using. The extra-large barrel looks like an ordinary pen (just a fat one!).When the top is removed there is a textured rubber grip which I found to be very comfortable between my fingers. There was no sliding around or pressure from using this highlighter for a long period.
The Bic Brite Liner comes in 5 fluorescent colors, blue, pink, yellow, green and orange. The two pack I purchased were both yellow. The extra-large barrel means this will last longer than an ordinary highlighter, and I've yet to go through the first one.The highlighters I was using had a tendency to dry out after a short period and not be as bold as I thought they should be.The fluorescent ink in this Bic Brite Liner is very bright and the chisel tip can be used for broad highlighting an entire line or marking a fine line underneath a word or sentence.
If you are using these at home and have children these highlighters are non-toxic, use a water-based ink, and the case is a PVC free item.So far I'm very pleased with these highlighters and recommend them whether you need them for work or home, or if you are a student or teacher.A+ in my book!
