Bic Cristal Pens By Jables on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Anyone who has ever been enrolled in school will immediately recognize the Bic Cristal pen. The smooth, hexagonal, clear ink housing shaft sets it apart from other pens. You may be temped to write them off as cheap, featureless pens but I assure you this is not the case at all.

I have been using pens since I was a child and I have NEVER encountered a more reliable pen. They always have flowing ink that lasts for months even under heavy writting. The weight balancing is impeccable. They are exquisite for performing "pen tricks" for which there are entire websites and communities devoted.

As far as looks are concerned, I personally find them very tasteful and indicitive of a refined taste in the operator. The next time someone criticizes your Bic Cristal pen you can point out that not only do they do their job better, don't brag about it in the end! ;)
