Big Backyard Playset

Wow The children were so excited to get a playset for the backyard. I am here to tell you that these wooden playsets are not all what they make them out to be. First of all they are not as sturdy as they look. My daughter and here friend ages 8-9 where swinging on the swings and I had to get them off when I noticed the unit was tilting. I couldnt believe it. They were not being THAT rough. I mean these playsets costs alot of money and they dont handle alittle rowdyness. And I must stress that YES it was put together correctly. To this day I wont let me younger child play in the sandbox under neath the fort on this set.
Also a friend of mine purchased wooden playset from the same place and I told her about how they are not sturdy. She has purchased a bigger playset than ours. So I think she thought it would be sturdier. She didn't really think much of it until about two weeks after hers was up. Her playset started to tilt and twist as the least amount of roughness.
We are looking to purchase a metal swingset next.
Not neccesarily cheap by any means but there are some really good quality sets out there. I have built a couple. It's unfortunate that our website is on this complaint. If you go to our website at www.backyardfunfactory.com you will find quality redwood play systems that are guaranteed for 12 years! They will last much longer than that, but if you have a problem for 12 years, we will come out and take care of it.They are very sturdy but you can't buy quality for $550. Ours begin at $1895 and our average sale is $4000 to $6000. They will not tilt and we are there for you if you have any problems with your swingset. You won't have any problems with letting you children play in our sandboxes. I couldn't tell if the blog above is for us or against us. I think he was referring to us as one of the best manufacturer out there....but the wording was not clear. We are in no way connected to "Big Backyard Playsets." Ohh sorry to hear that it was not that durable despite of the huge price. Every product require a good quality assurance otherwise why waste money.Thanks for warning about its low quality.

Glad to see you have provided readers with your information and have made it clear that your company isn't associated with the company in the review. Thanks for taking the time to enhance this review with your great info. DeeDee great review on a product that sounds like it needs further work before it's child worthy. Glad another manufacturer (www.backyardfunfactory.com) has offered their information and perhaps next time you and/or your friend will have much better luck with a company such as Back Yard Fun Factory...their name even sounds quality oriented ;) thanks for the info and warning on this particular set.
