Big Bags Are Ok... By Chenault on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

was looking for a storage container that was easy to see inside and that I could toss out when I was finished with it. When we travel with our dogs it gets frustrating when you can't locate, as an example, their muzzels or food easily, without rummaging through every bag and suitcase in the trunk of the car.

My boyfriend saw Ziploc Bigbags at Krogers and decided to purchase a box for our travels with our dogs. he went with a 4 pack XL size, which is something like 2 feet by 1.7 feet.

These bags are big, they are basically just a gigantic ziploc baggies, but a little stronger.

We are able to put all of the dog supplies in one bag( except the pooper scooper of course) and these bags do make traveling with the dogs a little easier. The bags are see through, so locating food, muzzels, treats or toys is very easy, and I am not unpacking half of our bags everytime we make a stop.

However, the bags are not that sturdy, they will get holes and tears easily. Sometimes they are hard to seal.

I will probably keep using these ziploc big bags for our travel needs when taking the dogs with us. They are kind of pricey for plastic bags in my opinion.

I rely on Ziploc bags for freezing or storing food - other brands do not hold up like Ziploc.
