Big Fish By Shawn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Tim Burton managed to disappoint after a notable beginning, but with the release of Big Fish he clearly captured the magic that many critics thought he had originally lost. A memorable tale of a storytelling father was portrayed in a way that only Tim Burton could have mustered. His classic, eerie landscapes mixed with the genuine compassion of the story made Big Fish one of the most surprisingly good films the year it was released.

As a DVD package you should invest in picking up the set that comes with the artwork book, which is the biggest addition. The special features are rudimentary, but there are enough to keep you interested for a little while after the film is over.

Whether you're buying it for the movie or as a DVD collector, Big Fish is a great addition to your collection.
