Big Fish By Ally By Ally on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have always been a big fan of Tim Burton. This movie really takes me back to how I saw things as a child. Best actor nominee, Albert Finney takes you on a visually stimulating journey through his life. He looked at it in a fantasy like manor. His son, William (played byBilly Cudrup) has become so fed up with listening to his father's "tall tails" that he distances himself from his father. One day he recieves a call that his father is dying. This begins the telling of his life's story. All the stories William has heard over the years start proving themselves to be true in one way or an other. Maybe, not to the extent of which they've been told to him, but true none the less. You really feel as though you've been swept away into an enchanted land while watching this film. The ending will move you, and surprise you. The film recieved 4 Golden GLobe nominations.
