Big North Lake Sweatshirt, A Breath Of Fresh Air By dade on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

During the cold months, I like dressing in layers. I have this philosophy, layers keeps me warmer. I can't prove this idea, but I do know I have more mobility when I am moving around outside, than if I was wearing my big winter coat.

Last winter, we began turning down the heat in the house at certain times of the day and night. With the price of heating a home reaching epidemic proportions, it makes more sense than ever, to dress in layers, even if your inside, instead of outside. So, now am dressing in layers almost all of the time and my wife thinks I am nuts.

I have a few sweatshirts, yet no one can have too many, so I bought another one. Croft & Barrow, "Big North Lake" Fleece Sweatshirt. It has a big old fish embroidered on the front, a comfortable cotton/poly blend, washable and it feels just fine.

The main problem with sweatshirts are, some do not breath correctly, causing you to sweat more than a sweatshirt should. This "Big North Lake", fleece sweatshirt, is very breathable and the comfort zone is at a ten.

This sweatshirt has quality ribbing around the cuffs, so when I push up the sleeves, they don't start falling down on me. I like this sweatshirt. It promises to be one of my all time classics.
