Bikini Zone Anti Bumps Shave Gel By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I guess all women have experienced this: you shave your bikini line, and on the next day the skin breaks out with irritation - the embarrassing red bumps that won't go away for days. I had had this happen, too, so I was very happy when I saw this gel on the shelf - Bikini Zone Anti-Bumps Shave Gel. The 4. fl.oz. plastic tube was under $4, and its promises sounded wonderful: formulated to prevent those after-shaving bumps, it was said to fight irritation, moisturize the skin and leave you with a perfectly smooth bikini shave. Just what I needed.
I bought the gel and tried it right away, following the simple directions - wet skin, apply gel, shave, rinse. The gel has a pleasant scent and foams nicely; shaving was easy, and on the next day I had no red bumps. I thought I had found the perfect solution... until the next morning. Yes, the bumps had showed up, just like they did before. Instead of preventing them, this product only delayed their appearance, so my search for a perfect solution continues.

Darn, I was hoping this was what we were looking for. Thanks for the information, I guess we will keep on searching.
Bummer... sure didn't do what it claimed.
I remember as a young woman everytime I shaved my legs they broke out in those red bumps. Nothing I did made any difference. It is better now as I have aged but I think it has a lot to do with skin type too.
I had high hopes for this stuff bummer it does not last.
You would think someone would develop a product to truly eliminate those bumps. They can turn into a real problem if a hair becomes ingrown and gets infected.
Thanks for the heads up as summer approaches. I too have looked everywhere for a solution.
What a bummer that this product doesn't work, thanks for the warning.
I was hoping that this product worked...
I was hoping it worked too, but somehow the price made me skeptical. I have heard women talk about putting Dove deodorant on after shaving, but I've never tried it. Maybe the moisturizing kind would work!
Well bummer-I was hoping this would be a holy grail product that I could try because I have gone through the same thing as you did! Back to the drawing board for us huh?!
