Bill Clinton My Life By pgmd2 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This book written by Bill Clinton outlines the Old Southern charm that he is well-known for. The book is not only an discussion of his accomplishments, but his failures as well. The message is quite forthright and lays down the facts. This autobiography gives you a chance to reflect on your own life, and not pass judgment on others. Like all autobiographies, this book tells the facts of the author's life, through the author's eyes. In some areas it seems as if he glosses over what has happened, with an artistic brush. It is clear that there should be mentioned the phrase, “rose colored glasses”. The one thing that is different about this autobiography is that it is not some self-serving ego-trip. Some autobiographies, especially from politicians can be written as a boosts to their egos. The tone of this book is not like that. Instead it presents him as exactly who he is – a human being – who made mistakes. If you are into politics, this is a great read!
