BilliardIsland Hanging Fixture

We bought this Murray Feiss hanging light for above the island in our kitchen about three years ago.I loved the style and size of the light.It has a bronze finish and is about 36" long with three lights that take a regular bulb. The shades are frosted a light tan color.It is about 21" tall.It gives off a lot of light, we have 100 watt bulbs in the fixture and have it connected to a dimmer switch so we can control the amount of light we want.That makes it perfect for preparing food when I want a lot of light or when we have company and want to sit at the counter and not have the light glaring in our eyes.

I have been very happy with this fixture, and have had only one problem with it.Not too long ago I decided to take the frosted glass shades off and clean them under the faucet. I used hot water and was horrified when the frosted finish started coming off!It was apparently only sprayed on, so I was forced to take all the finish off all three shades and am now left with frosted white shades.I am very surprised that these shades had that quality, as Murray Feiss is usually a dependable company.
