I bought the Bio Guard Gentle Shampoo for my dogs, because I use Flea drops like Frontline and this shampoo won't wash away the flea protection. I have used it on puppies and dogs, it is very gentle and I have never had any problems with their skin drying out from using it. I like the nice clean scent, it doesn't smell funny like most of the other animal shampoo's do. I have never tried it, but it says it can even be used by humans. I wouldn't hesitate to use it, if I ran out of my regular shampoo, because, as I said the scent is very nice. It is a little more expensive at around $10 for 12 oz., but I have had my bottle for more than a year and there is still plenty left, so it goes a long way.
