Birnbaum Disney by Kids!
By sndfan2 onAlthough I originally picked up "Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids by Kids, 2007" for my child, I soon realized that I loved it just as much as he did!
This book is designed so cleanly and easily to read. It is colorful and with short, easy-to-read paragraphs, that are FULL of information. It is split into various sections, including one for each of the parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM (now Disney Hollywood Studios), andAnimal Kingdom. There are also sections on other highlights such as the water parks, hotels, etc.
All of the major rides are highlighted throughout the book including designations of "Scary, Loud, Wet, Dark, and Rough". The first time I went to Disney, I wasn't sure which rides my family would like, so I really appreciated the details so I could plan which rides were appropriate for us.
Finally, there is a fun section in the back of the book for you (or your child) to write down your favorite moments and memories from your trip.
I highly recommend this book for kids and grown ups alike!
I have read so many great tihngs about this-I will have to see if there is a 2008 edition that I can pick up!
I brought this book for my son and I even enjoyed it myself.
I have been to Disney many many times as a guest in the contemporary hotel both before and after I have had children, and now that my son is turning 4 and retaining more information I am going to pick this up before we go back in November!
Sounds like a delightful book for children and a fun, interesting, informative read for Mom and Dad.
