Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2007 By zathras on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Birnbaum guides to Walt Disney World have the benefit of being "The Official Guide" which both helps and hurts it. They are certainly the best looking guides chock full of great color pictures and character artwork. They are limited however in that they really only focus on the good aspects and only talk about "on property" accomadations.

Sections are color coded and broken down into the parks, hotels, dining and several other sections. Everything is described in flowery detail and "hot tips" are interspersed throughout. If you have never been to "the world" before it would be very handy to read through prior to going on a trip to help pick what you want to see. It doesn't go into the deep details of touring the parks and a lot of the logistical issues. A good companion would be the Unnoficial Guide.

Birnbaums is a good guidebook that you would be likely to pick up after your trip is over to help spark some memories - recommended.

This sounds like a great guide to have if you are planning a trip to Disney.

Stay at home dad and podcaster. My wife occasionally reviews a thing or two also. We are both big fans......
