My husband knows that I like to collect Barbie dolls, so one year he gave me the September Sapphire Barbie from the Birthstone Collection. September is not my birth month, but I liked the September Barbie because she is wearing a deep royal blue off the shoulder gown, and blue is my favorite color.
My Sapphire Barbie has long blonde hair, and her stunning gown is covered in glitter. It is form-fitting to her knees and then billows out. She also has a chiffon shawl draped around her arms and dropping down to the bottom of her gown. She is wearing a sapphire necklace and just looks so graceful and poised.
I have not removed her from her box because I want to preserve her beauty. I have her as a collectible, but she would also be a nice doll for any young girl who enjoys playing with Barbie.
This doll is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, because of small parts that could present a choking hazard.
The September Sapphire Barbie from the Birthstone Collection is truly a beautiful doll.
