This was a gift from my husband with my new carpet cleaner. I would recommend this product. Its a great value and I have the one hundred twenty eight ounce bottle. This is extremly effective in cleaning carpets. It also contains scotchgard. It is designed for the environment . This cleaner is for carpets and upohlstery. It is a deep cleaning carpet shampoo. It resists dirt and stains. It was great at removing, the tough pet odors, all the tracked in dirt. It handles the pet danders as well as other soils. It takes a small amount to do a great deal of cleaning. I will continue to buy this shampoo for my new shampooer. You should always test an area of carpet before using. I have not had any problems using this shampoo throughout my house. The best results seem to be after vacuming first and pre treating any difficult stains.This product carries the good housekeeping seal also.

I was in the store the other day and looked was going to pick up a bottle, I have been using this product for awhile, and unhappily noticed that the bottles are ALOT smaller but are still being charged at the same price. I wonder if it is because they are more concentrated and less is needed like they have done with laundry detergent?
