Bitty Baby
By kateri27 onI bought Bitty Baby for my daughters first birthday.the doll is recommended ages three and up but I wanted her to have a baby doll and found that American girls dolls are the cadillac of baby dolls.
It is a cute 15" doll.It comes with a little bear called bitty bear, the doll in pajamas, a birth certificate, and a tiny little book about bitty bear.After spending $42 on the doll the only thing my daughter plays with is the bitty bear book.I guess she is a little young for dolls.
I like that the doll is soft and is very well constructed.there is a large array of clothing that you can choose from that you can purchase for the doll, you can even match your daughters outfit to that of her doll, which is cool.
I hope my daughter begins to love her doll a little more, but for now we will just keep reading the Bitty Bear Book.
She will grow into it. You are a killer mom to buy such a wonderful, and expensive toy for baby. Great work!
My girls love American girls I am sure she will love it whene she gets older.
The American Girls make some really great looking dolls! I have looked through their catalogs in the past and they are just so precious.

I think it is a great idea for a little girl, think of the tradition you could start with adding to her collection each year. I'm sure she'll get more "in to" these dolls as she gets older.
I am sure as she gets older she will want the doll ;) This sounds super cute and would make a wonderful birthday gift for a little girl.
I have actually heard of these before but I'm not sure if I have ever seen them. I will have to look them up and maybe get one for my daughter.
I was not aware American Girl had baby dolls now, I bet they are adorable! I remember my two American Girl dolls I had when I was younger and I loved them. :o)
I might have almost liked dolls if American Girl had been around when I was growing up.
