Perfect to keep in the car in case you need a source of power. This inverter is a steal of a deal at the low price of $14.99 at the local Wal Mart.

It is strong enough to power the laptop so I can write while we are driving, but not to power the professional grade hair straightened, which I later learned consumed more power because it had to heat up to 200 degrees, this makes sense now – but besides the point. Everyone should have one in their vehicle to plug in chargers for video games, or laptops or anything else that you may need while you are on the road.

On our most recent road trip, it was enough to power the mini plug in cooler that kept our drinks nice and cool, refreshing us as we traveled. The indicator light is visible at all times, and is very straightforward, either green or red, very convenient. It is quiet, and makes no noise, we love it!

This inverter is small, no more than four inches, and is different because it plugs directly into the cigarette lighter, and the outlet is there, instead of a power box with a cord leading to the cigarette lighter. This takes up less room, and is more convenient on those long trips, and is small enough to fit into the glove compartment.

A definite must for our road trips, and once you buy it – you will see why. At the low price, you will be able to find some use for it.
