Black Decker 1 Million Candle Power Spotlight
By Rae777 onBlack & Decker 1 Million Candle Power Rechargeable Spotlight : This flashlight is really nice and bright. I like that. I also like that its rechargeable so I dont constantly have to buy batteries. It charges very quickly. Looks nice and has a good handle on it that makes it easy to reach the trigger. Some spotlights have handles that are too big around. Has a button that locks it in to the on position but like I said it dims after about 20 minutes of use.The problems are, which is why I gave it a 3: It does not hold a charge for more than 20 minutes before going dim. This means I have to recharge it everytime I use it. Its also a bit heavy to carry but then most spotlights are-this is not a big issue with me. Would be nice if Black and Decker made a longer lasting spotlight.

Holding a charge for such a short time is a big drawback when camping in deep woods or high mountains. You would expect a spotlight to perform better.
The 20 minute life of the charge would be a huge drawback for me. I would rather have a flashlight that took batteries...
Thank you for pointing out the con about the battery life-I would have given this a 3 too!!
sounds like a good warning to heed--thanks!
Thanks for the heads up...does not sound like it is very beneficial.
I would be annoyed with re-charging it every time I used it, thanks for that information.
Sounded good until we got to the re-charging. Thanks for the great information.
That would simply not work for me. We need a light that will work basically 8 hours without recharging when we are camping.
Thanks for adding the correction to the rating. I had to see why this was so bad that you gave it a 0, now I see that it was a computer glitch.
Bummer that it doesn't hold a charge for longer than that.
