The Black and Decker AS600 6-Volt Alkaline Battery Cordless Screwdriver is a useful tool to have around your home. My wife and I use this for simple household fixes that need to be made quickly and wit ease. The unit uses 4 AA batteries, and the batteries last quite a while. We got a full day's use of hanging pictures, screwing and unscrewing toys to fix with ease around the house. Despite the small, compact size this tool works with a lot of power. It is deceptively small. I use this tool for many household jobs that I was always searching for a handheld screwdriver for before-I found this cuts the time down to less than a third of the time it took before. I would recommend this tool for anyone looking for a small addition to their toolbox that makes work time less and much easier overall.

I've looked at buying one of these primarily because of the Black and Decker brand and portability. I like having a power driven screwdriver for the hundreds of small tasks that pop up around the home.
Looks great! It would be much easier for me to use than a heavy drill; I'll have to check it out.
