I bought the Black & Decker Cordless Broom for my husband as a gift a few years ago at the Black & Decker Store. I mainly bought it for him to use when cleaning out the garage. In the fall we get a lot of leaves in the garage and it is hard to sweep them out with a regular garage broom. The Black & Decker Cordless Broom works pretty well on leaves. It is pretty powerful, but sometimes if the leaves are damp they stick to the garage floor and the cordless broom can't even get them loose. It is lightweight, so it is easy for myself and even the kids to use. It is also good for blowing the dog hair out of the garage when our dog is shedding. We also use it to clean off the floor of the deck and it works very well for that.
