Black Decker Dust Buster Plus By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

At first, my Black & Decker DustBuster Plus Cordless Vacuum Cleaner worked very well, and I had no complaints. I liked the convenience of a small, cordless handheld vacuum cleaner, it was easy to use and easy to get around with. There is no bag to deal with: when the vacuum cleaner gets full, you just open it up and shake the dust out. The filter needs to be replaced once in a while, which isn't a problem since extra filters are always available in stores and online. DustBuster Plus comes with several different heads, one of them with a brush. That gives more cleaning options and allows to get into tight, narrow spaces. The charger platform can be mounted on a wall, which I had done.

I enjoyed DustBuster Plus for a while, but not for very long. Something went wrong with the battery, it just would not charge. After spending a whole day on the charger, the vacuum cleaner would work only for about 10 minutes and then start losing power again. I still use it occasionally, but this is very frustrating.

I had been thinking about getting one of those since it sounds simpler to use than a full blown vac. If the battery doesn't work right the whole concept is out of the window. I think I may stay away from this model.

I had a similar experience, it worked great at first but then the battery started acting out.
