Black Decker Makes Ironing Tolerable! By JenniferB on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Ironing is not something that I enjoy doing at all! But I will say since receiving this Black & Decker Steam Advantage Iron, it is much better. The iron is very lightweight and easy to use. I usually iron everything on the highest level of 6 for cotton, but occassionally use a lower level for a more delicate fiber. I do not like to use starch to iron, so the steam feature of this iron is great! You can spray the clothing with a light mist and then iron or you can turn on the steam and while you are ironing, the steam comes out. I also like that I can choose the level of steam that comes out especially when I have a shirt that is very wrinkled. This iron holds a lot of water at once which is nice so you don't have to refill it halfway through ironing. I highly recommend this iron if you must iron!

I have a B&D, although a different model, and I agree that it is a good iron!

Wow I did not know B & D made irons. Sounds like they do a great job.

Thank you for this information, not a bad price for an iron that seems to work well.

Ironing sucks, but Black n Decker rules! Nice writing, by the way.
