I have always wanted a under cabinet can opener. I hate the clutter on my countertop with small appliances. I recently purchased a Black & Decker Under Cabinet Spacemaker Can Opener and Knife Sharpener Model CO85. I was afraid that even mounted under the cabinet it would take up valuable work surface but this model only hangs down 4 inches when installed. Another worry was the ability to support and hold large cans but that is not a problem. Of course the instillation did require driving holes in the bottom of my cabinet but I left that up to my husband. I am also pleased with how the knife sharpener works. I like to use very sharp knives and this is an easy way to sharpen them on a daily basis. I am very happy and please with this can opener and knife sharpener.
