Black Decker Trimmer Edger, Model No. St6500 By Kat Mitschke on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I recently purchased a Black & Decker Trimmer/Edger, Model No. ST6500. It is an electric model, 12" bump feed. I am a female and don't have tremendous strength in arms and shoulders but I find this model comfortable to use. The Black & Decker Trimmer/Edger, Model No. ST6500 only weighs 4.8 pounds. It does not have a shoulder strap but it is really not needed. This model is the type where you just bump the bottom of the spool on a firm surface and it automatically feeds more line. If you bump too hard and it feeds to much line it will automatically cut off the extra. In addition it is very easy to change the line after you have run out. I have been very pleased with this Black & Decker Trimmer/Edger, Model No. ST6500 and would probably buy the same model if I had to replace this one.
