Black Paint For The Grills By Crissy Taruc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Hubby and I decided to change the paint of the window grills. We are thinking of doing it by ourselves one at a time to save money. For the new look, we will be painting the grills with the combination of black and gold finish. Currently white is the color of the grills and we find it hard to maintain the look because white easily becomes messy with dirt and rust. When it comes to paint, Boysen is one of the trusted brands. The family went shopping for the painting materials we will be in need of at Ace Hardware located inside a mall. For the black color, we bought 1 liter of BOYSEN QUICK DRYING ENAMEL - BLACK. I started with the small window first to have a look of the gold and black combination.

Application: I find it easy to use. After opening the can, I stir the paint with the use of a stick and then pour it in a container. From that container I soak the paint brush from time to time as I paint the grills. The mixture and the color are perfect. I was able to paint a 24"x36" window in less than 30 minutes. I'm happy with the gloss of this black paint and it matches the color of Handsa Yellow paint of the house. Just be sure to close the container immediately and tightly after use to avoid drying up.
