Blackberry Curve 8310 By vnascone on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Blackberry Curve 8310 is the phone/PDA I recently purchased to replace my aging 7230, and I need to say, this is an excellent phone. It excels in all areas, trumping its predecessor thoroughly. It is far easier to put third party applications on, it has a vibrant screen, it replaces the jogwheel with a trackball type input system, and looks a whole lot better. It comes out of the box with a nice looking leather case along with all the other accoutrements you would assume come with a phone. Within an hour of activating my phone, I had gotten my GPS software going (it tracks the smallest movement, I moved 10 feet to the left once and it followed), I was up and running with my headset, and had my music playing through it. It couldn't have been simpler, and this is one of the best phones I have used. It, like its predecessor has excellent reception for something with no external antenna, it is slim and light and I absolutely love it. I couldn't be happier with it, actually.
