My husband purchased the blackberry pearl 8100 for me for Mother's day of 2007, and I then traded in my motorola cellular phone. I had heard of the blackberry phones before, and had known them as the pricier cellular phones, so I expected a whole lot out of this phone. Well, I got what I expected for the most part. I think it's a great little slim phone. One of my favorite features of the cellular phone is the speaker phone, it works way better then any other speaker phone I have ever had on my cellular phones. The thing I dislike about my blackberry pearl cellular phone the most is the battery life, I feel that it doesn't last very long compare to most cellular phones that I have had. All in all, I would recommend this phone to people, because for the most part, it's a really great, clear phone.
