The Blackberry Pearl is a really exceptional smartphone. It dosn't try to fool you and play the "i'm so advanced, look at me" card, but has a clean, simple design that is very appealing. The capabilities of the phone are exceptional, wireless email, web, messeging are all done flawlessly and the pearl scroll whell in the middle of the unit makes navigating through things effortless. The only drawback about this phone is the cost of the voice + data plan on verizon wireless (the carrier I tested this unit on), which start at $79.99 and go up. Is it worth it? It is if you always want access to your email and the web in a sleek, stylish, small phone. Overall, the Blackberry pearl is the best Blackberry yet and really shows how sleek and stylish Blackberry can make their phones.
