Black Berry Pearl Verizon By Michael Pekker on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is my first SmartPhone, so the comparison with my previously owned phones will not be completely adequate. I own the phone for less than a month, so I still need to use to its advanced features. However, I have a certain experience related to the phone, that probably not many people had. Just this weekend I had to jump to the river without removing my gadgets. The first one that recovered after being for at least 10 minutes under water, was Blackberry. There are no traces of the permanent damage.

I like almost everything in the phone, so it is better to note, what I do not like:

1. Reception quality is average.

2. Occasional temporary OS freezing, particularly when accessing international numbers in the log.

3. Some features of the phone are not plug-and-play, requiring Manual reading.

4. Phone is digital only, but it is almost impossible to find tri-mode phones anyway.
