My son received this gem of a lawn toy from a relative for his birthday. (No, that is not my son in that picture!) Of course he insisted that we take it out of the package immediately and try it out. His friends also wanted it open, so I caved and set it up.
This toy is very easy to set up. It is made out of a very durable plastic material. The missiles, however, are made of a very soft, lightweight foam. All the child has to do is jump on the pedal and it sends the missile flying up in the air.
This game is great for both adults and children! We must have played with this lawn toy for hours that day. I would recommend getting extra missiles as they do get lost or caught in a tree, as I know too well!
I love this lawn game for not only its fun factor, but also the fact that the kids love it and it allows them to get exercise because they have to run around to gather up the missiles.

This sounds like a great toy! Like you said - gives some exercise. I can see kids having a ball trying to see who's missle can go the farthest! Fun!
Give then cardboard boxes, let them build forts, and put helmets on(optional.) would be a great battle toy, if you altered the rules, lol. :)
