Blistex Lip Ointment Review By jrm5035 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

During the harsh winters in the Northeastern United States, a frequent problem is chapped lips. There are many alternatives out there, Burt's Beeswax, Chapstick, etc., but most of these will not cut it when your lips start to crack and bleed. That's where Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment comes in. Despite carrying a heavy price in the chapstick world, the effectiveness cannot be beaten. Within your first thorough application can changes be noted, and even within a day, the most broken and beaten of lips can be restored. There are few drawbacks about this product, the only two notable are the smell and cost. Given the effectiveness, it completely outweighs any negative factors present. Overall, if you're a skiier, mountain climber, or anyone frequently exposed to the harsh cold elements, Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment is a must.

I live in Connecticut and have to have Blistex in my coat pocket, on my desk, in my pocketbook and on my dresser everyday! I think my lips would fall off if I did not used Blistex!
