Blokus - Blokus review

We have never heard of the game Blokus before until my son received it as a gift.

It is a strategy board game. The goal is to fit all your pieces onto the board. Your pieces may not lie adjacent to your other pieces, but must be placed touching at least one corner of your piece already on the board.
Strategic thinking helps block your opponent.

Although it says you can play as little as two players, it really works best with four player. The problem with only two players is the game just isn't as exciting and finishes fairly quickly.
The game itself can be confusing at first but once you get the hang of it it is very addicting.

I love it for my son as it challenges his mind. Every round is different. My son is in an enrichment math class and he loves this game. I found it even his teacher is his math class as this game and every kid loves this game. It is great for those kids that enjoy thinking outside the box.

This game is definitely not just for kids though. My husband and I enjoy it just as much as my son does.Most of the time we play it when he has a friend and it is so much fun blocking each other from winning.

Another plus of the game is it is very sturdy. If you are looking for a great educational game you really have to get this game. It's a great for challenging your mind.
