Blood Pressure Monitor
By uaezarb onI bought this blood pressure monitor for my husband who has high blood pressure.Unfortunately we found out that the cuff wasn't big enough for his arm.The doctor said that if the cuff doesn't fit right, then you don't get an accurate reading. This monitor is for arms 9 to 17 inches in circumference. We didn't know when we bought it that the cuff size was that important.
I have used the monitor myself and found it to be accurate. It is very simple to use.It not only gives you the blood pressure reading, but also your pulse reading. It also has a memory of the date and latest readings that I had. There is an error indicator and a low battery indicator. There is also an AC adapter, so you don't have to use batteries. It all comes in a nice storage case.

Too bad about the cuff. Looks like a blood pressure monitor would come with one that could be adjusted for all sizes.
looks like another good BP meter here, thanks for introducing that product . Will check this out too.
Other than the cuff size being too small this sounds like a nice monitor. I like that it remembers the previous reading and date. Helpful when you're trying to keep track of your blood pressure.
You know the cuff comes in bigger sizes right? The company could tell you if they make one for this model. A lot of times you can just change out the cuff on the same machine. I was never sure if these were accurate as I would take it and then take it a second time and it would give me a different reading. It may just be me. I am from the school of read it your self with a stethoscope and cuff LOL.
