I purchased a window fan at my local walmart I chose the Bionnaire model with a digital thermostat. It does a fantastic job on those muggy evenings to draw the hot air out of the room and bring cool air back in. This fan has tons of power and is not very noisy at all. Bionnaire seems to be a quality name in Fans so I chose this one and it has not disappointed me so far. My room only has one window so by putting an Air conditioner in the window I loose the oppurtunity to open my window on a nice spring day because the AC blocks it and it would be pain to keep setting it up. At least by having this window fan its very easy to move in and out when the weather is not so hot that you can live without the AC for a while. I would definately recommend this window fan.
