Talk about power! These speakers are unbelievable in delivering movie theater sound. Certified by THX, this 2.1 sound system cranks out 400 Watts of power and is perfect for all uses; anything from your computer to an MP3 player. Its assembly is extremely simple, plug in the two satellite speakers to the subwoofer, plug in the remote to the subwoofer, plug the subwoofer into a power source. And then of course you have the auxillary cable which you can plug into any device that accepts a 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack. The subwoofer is a bit on the large size, but it delivers ENORMOUS bass. The remote has its own 1/8" headphone jack for quiet listening, it also has a control to turn off the power and to adjust the levels of volume from the satellites and the level of bass from the subwoofer. The satellites have a removable screen to protect the speaker components and also to give it a simple black look, when removed, the satellites have an edgy silver and black look. These speakers get LOUD so they are extremely good for parties or for outside gatherings. Highly recommended purchase.

I believe these speakers are now going for $79.99 at target, and I know what your saying. I went to my cousin's house and he had them in his livingroom and they really cranked...and its also a plus to be able to control that crazy bass and treble with the controller. I dont know if it's the exact same speaker as the one you speak of but it is logitech and it looks the same as the photo. Maybe earlier model.$79.99 for a system like that is a must get.
