Reviewing: Blue Lizard Baby Spf 30
Purchased at: Cvs

Last summer when we started looking for a sunscreen that would be good for our son, who has very sensitive skin, we stumbled upon Blue Lizard Baby.I saw it recommended on a parenting website and looked it up. Aroundthe same time my husband was reading about chemical sunscreens and how they get into the skin and those chemicals get into our systems. He really worries about these things especially with our infant son.One of the articles he read reviewed sunscreens and Blue Lizard Baby was one of the best both for sun protection and lack of chemicals.

Blue Lizard Baby is chemical free and fragrance free.It has SPF 30 as all Blue Lizard sunscreens do.It prevents sun damage from both UVA and UVB exposure. It claims to be water resistant for up to 240 minutes, but we've never tested that one.Blue Lizard meets Australian standards which are stricter that FDA standards.

We've had a good experience with it.We've never had a sunburn when we used it.It doesn't irritate my son's skin - no itching, no eczema breakouts. It is really thick and kind of hard to rub in, but I think that's why it works so well. The only negative is the price. It's more expensive that other brands, but I think it's a price worth paying to prevent sun damage now and skin cancer later.

Wow..cute name for a sunscreen! This sounds like a great sunscreen for your little one. If it works safely to protect your child, then it's worth the price. Thanks for your insight on this valuable product.

I think I will be checking this out for this summer. My son has very light skin and burns easily. It is hard to find a good sunscreen for him.

Someone gave me a ton of samples of this sunscreen and I have used them on my daughter. She hasn't gotten burned once! We will continue to use it!

I'm all in favor of fewer chemicals, many of which accumulate in our bodies, over time. This sounds like a good option.
