Bodum Tastea Tea Egg Infuser

Obviously, this is not a small appliance, but I couldn't seem to find an appropriate category for a tea infuser, so here it is. This is a stainless steel tea infuser that is spring loaded. You push the end of it to open the "egg", and just scoop some of your favorite loose leaf tea into it. Let go of the end, and the egg closes. Then, set the infuser into a mug of hot water. After 3 - 5 minutes, remove the infuser, and you have a nice hot cup of tea. I have had this for over a month and, so far, it's reliable and effective. (Not to mention convenient). There is no warranty - again, this is not an appliance. I don't actually CLEAN the infuser, I just rinse the loose leaf tea out of it and set it aside. If I wanted to, I don't see why I couldn't put it in the dishwasher - it is stainless steel and is made to be placed in hot water. This would be easy to pack for travel, or it would be convenient to have on hand at the office just as a creature comfort when you are away from home.
