Bodycology Vanilla Butterscotch Hand Lotion

I have tried Bodycology Vanilla & Butterscotch Hand Lotion at a friend's house. The cute pump-top bottle of this lotion standing in the bathroom had immediately caught my attention: I am very familiar with Bodycology products, and I generally like this brand. The vanilla and butterscotch fragrance was new to me, so I was glad to be able to try it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing. I found the smell way too strong and too sweet, even though I usually enjoy scents that are on the sweet side. I guess vanilla and butterscotch just don't mix very well. Plain vanilla would have been so much better.

Except for the scent, this hand lotion is fine; as I rubbed it in, it was quickly absorbed and left my skin feeling velvety-soft. However, the rather unpleasant fragrance had ruined it for me. I kept smelling it on my hands for hours.
