Okay So we heard about this free money called Small Business Funding Centre for Canadians. It is where you can be eligible For a fund/grant/loan from more than 20 billion dollars from funding programs. For financing small businesses. You can use these funds to help you start-up, expand or improve your business.
Sounds great. So we decided to read about it and find out as much as we could. Turns out that yes it can be legit. My husband got on the phone and call their 1800-number and the next thing I new he was handing out our credit card information. I was angry because you don't give that information to anyone until you now it is legit. The Centre took $250.00 from our card and the other $250.00 that following month. Yes that's right $500.00 for something my husband was just supposed to call and find out information. NOT sign up.
In the coming weeks we got the package in the mail. everything was there that they claimed would be. A few books, a DVD and the big black book of addresses and phone numbers to people that can give you a loan. Great so for so good. Until we were decided to contact a few of these businesses in this book. The ones that would or can help with the business that we are in, were no longer available. That's right didn't exist anymore.
I definitely would NOT recommend this site or info to anyone. There is NO such thing as free money from the Government. At least we haven't seen any prove yet. But hey if you still think there is. I have a Small Business Funding package for sale. Ha Ha. Still hard to believe that we paid for this. We are grinches when it comes to spending a dollar.

DeDee, I can't believe that some of the businesses no longer existed! And you paid $500 for that. I'm sorry that they pulled one over on you. Thanks for sharing the information.
Sorry to hear about this scam. But at least you can save someone else from being hurt by this company.

Oh gosh-I can't believe you went through this-I don't blame you for being "grinches"!!
I have seen ads for that here in the US. They advertise that they can get you free money from the government. OK right away, the government here in the US doesn't give out free money. I was wondering exactly what this was. Thanks for the heads up.

Ohhhhh, this really bites the big one! I have seen similar things like this before... it sounds so good and then... well, you already know... so sorry.
